My name is Mark Jenkins.

I live under the light polluted skies of Beloit Wisconsin. ;-)

I have been married to Sarah for 13 years.

I have 3 daughters Elizabeth, age 8.5, Katherine (Katie) age 7 and Melissa age 6 months.

My interest in Astronomy started about one year ago when I found a Meade 60mm Refractor Telescope for sale on e-bay. After that arrived and I took my first look at Jupiter and Saturn, I was hooked. I purchased a Meade LX-200 10" f10 Schmidt Cassegrain Telescope, several accessories for astrophotography, several eyepieces for visual work. I am also doing astronomical CCD work.

I hope that as I gain knowledge and experience my images will improve dramatically. I will keep friends and family notified whenever I post new images.
