Solutions for Astro-Physics/TeleVue Genesis SDF/Parallax Rings

Custom Machined Parts that allow versatility of mounting scenarios when using a TeleVue Genesis/SDF/101/102 with an Astro-Physics German Equatorial Mount and Parallax Mounting Rings.

Parallax-DOVE8-Adapter2.jpg (25K) 314 x 361 4.0" Parallax Rings mounted on AP 7" Sliding Bar (SB0800). Shows custom machined aluminum adapter plate mounted to top of 4.0" Parallax Rings. This allows an AP 8" Dovetail (DOVE08) to be mounted to the top of the 4.0" Parallax Rings.

Pier1.jpg (32K) 250 x 564 Homemade Accessory Tray for AP 6" Portable pier. The size of this altered plastic water fountain tray is 12.5" diameter and is 4" deep.This tray fits under the tension rods (not shown). It is held in place with Velcro that has been wrapped around the pier which keeps the tray in place. The tray can be easily removed for transportation.

The AP 8" dovetail can then be used for other accessories such as a guidescope or the Piggyback/Finder setup shown above.
